About Samuel Bellamy

Samuel Bellamy is a Singer-Songwriter with influences of Folk, Country, and Rock music creating a mix of music styles. By creating a unique brand of music, Samuel’s music can be relatable to life situations. Samuel's music was influenced by Willie Nelson, John Prine, John Denver, Bob Dylan, Johnny Cash, James Taylor, Sammy Hagar, and many more artists.

Samuel was born and raised in Ohio. Though spending his life in Ohio, he traveled to Eastern Kentucky to spend time with family during the summers. Samuel's family was inspired by folk, mountain, and bluegrass music.

Samuel at an early age started his interest in music by taking piano lessons. Though it only lasted a little while, the knowledge from learning the piano helped him later in life with learning the guitar. After retiring from the military, Samuel started learning guitar as therapy during his transition. Samuel shared his musical talent by performing at the Veteran Affairs medical clinic playing guitar with other veterans. Samuel has also played with other musical performers at open mic and jam sessions. Samuel used his talent by creating open mic sessions at local bars to help others use their musical talent to share with others.

Samuel's songwriting started in 2019 while traveling on the open road in an RV across the country. With limited interruptions of normal life, Samuel was able to write songs from the experiences he had throughout his life. Samuel released his first EP in 2024 and received good reactions from Indi radio stations throughout the world. The single Whispering Rain and This Empty Chair showed the growth of his songwriting over the past couple of years.
